Exercises to Jump Higher

Learning how to jump higher is the goal for most athletes that really want to the best in the sport of their choosing.

Exercises to jump higher include squats, calf raises, hamstring curls, cleans and plyometrics.

Plyometric exercises to jump higher are very important to increase you vertical leap because that is how you develop speed in your legs.

Weight training is very important as well. Squats will help you jump higher if you also train with plyometric workouts.

Vertical training should carry as much importance as ball handling skill for the sport you play. If you can jump higher than your competition, you will block more basketball and spike more volleyballs than the opposing team and win.
